3 Sizes of Dumpsters for Different Projects

We offer dumpster sizes of 12-yards, 15-yards and 20-yards. Choosing from these three sizes allows you to get the best size according to your needs. If you haven’t rented a dumpster very often, it can be confusing to figure out what the right size is for your project. You don’t want one larger than you need because it will be wasted money, and if you get one too small you’ll be restricted and looking at extra costs associated with the extra volume or weight.

There are several things to consider when ordering a dumpster:

Determine Your Exact Needs

To decide on a dumpster size, you need to determine your exact needs. Are you throwing away heavy material or light items? What exactly are you throwing away? Building debris like shingles, siding or wood, or household items such as boxes of old memorabilia and dishes.

Determining Dumpster Container Size

Dumpsters are rated by sizes, which correspond to the number of cubic yards that will fit into them. So, a 12-yard dumpster holds 12 cubic yards of waste in it, and so on. But it can be hard for someone unfamiliar with dumpsters to picture what size they need. This is our most common question.
